# Dashboard Table UI Refinement

## Context
Refined the Deals Dashboard table UI based on specific visual critiques following the initial overhaul. Adjustments focused on strict dimension matching with the filter panel, specific column styling overrides, and verifying graphical asset behavior.

## Key Changes

### 1. Dimensions & Alignment
- **Table Width:** Updated `#deals-table` to `1333px` to precisely match the user-specified Filter Panel width.
- **Filter Panel Width:** Updated `.filter-panel` to `1333px` to ensure perfect vertical alignment.
- **Centering:** Maintained `margin: 22px auto 0 auto` for consistent spacing.

### 2. Typography & Column Styles
- **"Now" Column (Price):**
  - Removed the `<b>` (bold) weight; forced to `font-weight: 400` via a new CSS class `.price-now-cell`.
  - **Removed Hyperlink:** The price value is now plain text, removing the `<a>` tag and `.best-price-link` class.

### 3. Row Styling & Backgrounds
- **Group Header Row:** Explicitly set `background-color: transparent !important` on `tr.group-header` to prevent any inherited background colors (specifically the `#031b2a` fill noted in critiques).

### 4. Graphics & Assets
- **Sort Arrows:** Validated the hover logic for `DescendingON.png` and `AscendingON.png`. Confirmed file naming conventions (`ON` vs `On`) matched the codebase logic.

## Technical Implementation Details
- **CSS:** Updates in `static/global.css` targeted `#deals-table`, `.filter-panel`, and added `.price-now-cell`.
- **JavaScript:** `templates/dashboard.html`'s `renderTable` function was updated to remove the link wrapper for the `Price_Now` column and apply the new class.

## Verification
- Validated via Playwright (`verify_dashboard.py`) and visual inspection of the generated screenshot (`dashboard_verification_2.png`).
- Confirmed correct alignment, font weights, and icon rendering.
