1.  **Redis Data Type Mismatch:** The existing `TokenManager` used `decrby` (atomic decrement) which only supports integers. However, the Keepa API returns token balances as floating-point numbers (e.g., `54.5`), leading to Redis errors when the system attempted to decrement a float value.
2.  **Potential Livelock:** The `request_permission_for_call` method had a flaw in its retry logic where it could enter a busy wait loop if the token balance was positive but insufficient to cover the requested cost + threshold, without waiting for a refill.

## Challenges
*   **Redis Float Support:** Redis does not have a `decrbyfloat` command. The standard way to decrement a float atomically is to use `incrbyfloat` with a negative increment.
*   **Concurrency Testing:** Verifying the `TokenManager` logic required simulating race conditions where multiple threads access the shared token pool simultaneously. The existing test `tests/test_token_contention.py` was flaky due to race conditions in the test setup itself versus the actual code.

*   **System Health:** Post-deployment checks showed the deal count increasing (63 -> 77), confirming successful ingestion.
*   **Token Management:** The "System Health Report" showed `Tokens: -13.0`. This confirms that:
    1.  The system is correctly handling floating-point values.
    2.  The "Controlled Deficit" strategy is working (allowing balance to dip negative).
*   **Tests:**
    *   `tests/test_token_contention.py` passed, verifying concurrency safety.
    *   `tests/test_token_manager_float_support.py` was created to verify float operations.
