**2. Challenges & Solutions:**

- **Challenge:** The initial frontend verification using Playwright failed repeatedly.

- Solution:

   

  The debugging process involved several steps:

  1. **Incorrect Selector:** The initial script failed to find the login button. This was resolved by using a more specific CSS selector (`form.login-form button[type="submit"]`) to disambiguate it from other buttons.
  2. **Race Condition:** The script failed because it was navigating away from the settings page before the flash message could be rendered. This was fixed by adding a step to wait for the flash message to appear *on the settings page* before proceeding to the dashboard.
  3. **Environment Dependencies:** The most significant challenge was that the Celery worker and its Redis message broker were not running in the sandbox environment. This caused the background recalculation task to never execute, leading to timeouts in the verification script. Attempts to install Redis via `apt-get` failed due to permissions.

  - **Workaround:** Due to the inability to install Redis, a full end-to-end test of the recalculation feature could not be completed via Playwright. The implementation was validated through static code analysis and a successful code review, which confirmed the logic was sound. This is a key environmental constraint to be aware of for future tasks involving background workers.
